Continuous production runs
The 7,620+ validated batches are continuous production runs on the industrial-scale platform — not bench-top experiments, not pilot-sample aliquots, not uncharacterised campaigns.
PNW BIO operates the platform against a process-capability discipline. Every product in the portfolio has been validated over thousands of continuous production runs at industrial scale, with statistical capability measured per grade and released against the specification published in the product data sheet.
Cpk is the standard statistical index of process capability — the distance between a production process's mean and the nearest specification limit, normalised to the process's own variability. A higher Cpk means a tighter, more repeatable line.
A Cpk of 1.00 means the process sits exactly three standard deviations from its nearest spec limit. A Cpk of 1.33 is the widely used threshold for "capable"; 1.67 is the threshold for "excellent"; and 2.00 is the threshold conventionally associated with world-class continuous manufacturing.
SC-1 is released at Cpk 1.85 against its published specification envelope. The full nine-product portfolio is held at a floor of Cpk ≥ 1.33. These are not targets — they are the running measurement captured across 7,620+ continuous production runs at industrial scale.
Measured on released batches
The 7,620+ validated batches are continuous production runs on the industrial-scale platform — not bench-top experiments, not pilot-sample aliquots, not uncharacterised campaigns.
Each validated run operated the reactor at its full commercial throughput class of 6 metric tons per hour. Scale-up is not a question the platform needs to re-answer.
Metallic impurity verification for SC-1 is performed by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Release is against specification, not against inference.
Each release batch carries a record against the published product data sheet. Customer qualification packages are derived from the same underlying record set.
PNW BIO is engineered so that the regulatory environment the United States is moving toward — domestic-content procurement, enforceable PFAS limits in drinking water, documented supply-chain provenance — is the environment the platform was designed for from the first line of the process book.
Feedstock is 100% domestic Pacific Northwest forest residue. Conversion is domestic. Specification release is domestic. The supply chain is designed to support Build America, Buy America procurement pathways, and the AC family is configured against the adsorption envelopes drinking-water and industrial customers require.
Procurement qualification is the responsibility of the contracting party; PNW BIO supports qualification with documentation, process data, and product data sheets.
